Black Crows Captis Birdie Skis 2027 // Women's

The Black Crows Captis Birdie is an all-mountain ski with a playful spirit. Its DNA is derived from a freestyle-focused concept. It's a less directional twin-tip shape with a soft flexing wood core, making it feel light, quick, and easy to turn. This makes it a great option for skiers looking to go beyond the groomers. In tight terrain and variable snowpack, it feels predictable and maneuverable. This makes those technical steeper runs easier and less taxing as the day goes on. The softer flex pattern allows for good snap, making them easy to release and whip around tight terrain. It's not a wide ski, but at 90mm underfoot, it gets the job done through various snow conditions and terrain.

On hard pack or groomers, the Captis Birdie feels energetic, has good grip, and can effortlessly make any turn shape. They're also incredibly easy to balance on. Because the ski is light and playful, it does have a speed limit. A more experienced, harder-charging skier might find it lacking the confidence they need at higher speeds. Skiers who don't push it too hard while carving will find it to have enough confidence. The Captis is not made for the groomer slaying ex-ski racer. This ski wants to get adventurous and help you grow.
