Salomon S/Lab QST Blank Skis 2026

There are fat skis, and then there’s the QST Blank. This thing’s built like a linebacker but floats like a butterfly, a 112mm-waisted powder-hunting missile that doesn’t paint you into a corner like some "powder" skis might. It’s more versatile than it has any right to be, considering how burly or one dimensional it might look on paper.

Let’s be real, the name’s a bit of a red herring. The QST Blank isn’t a blank slate; it’s got a very clear idea of what it wants: deep snow, soft landings, and big terrain. But it doesn’t punish you for not going full throttle every run and it doesn't always need neck deep snow. The updated shape and flex pattern keep it playful enough to slash trees, spin off hits, but doesn't mind cruisinig around or lapping mellow terrain between storm cycles. 

Damp? Sure. Stable? When you need it to be. But what really makes this ski stand out is how approachable it is for a ski so wide. You don’t need quads of steel or a Red Bull contract to drive it. Intermediate+ riders who want a taste of big-mountain flavor won’t feel like they’re in over their heads. But for the hard chargers out there? Yeah, the Blank can handle anything you throw at it.
