Tecnica Cochise 120 Ski Boots 2027

The Tecnica Cochise 120 has been around for quite a while now yet remains one of the top contenders in both fit and skiability. The performance you get on both the up and the down is great, and the fit works for a wide variety of foot shapes. Most alpine touring boots aren't the best at crushing resort laps, the Cochise 120 is more than powerful enough to keep up with you on the days you spend in the resort while the walk mode offers a smooth and efficient feel when you head out on some touring laps. A progressive 120 flex behaves very similarly to a traditional downhill boot and is more than responsive enough to handle some aggressive ski days without being too unforgiving for skiers who aren't perfect. Compared to the stiffer flexing Cochsie 130, the 120 has a softer liner and a flex pattern that makes sense for intermediate skiers or lighter-weight expert skiers. Compared to older Cochise models, the walk mode on the new version is much better (better power transfer and a smoother feel on the ascent). If you spend most of your time in the resort, tour occasionally, have average feet, and don't need to be in the stiffest or tightest fitting boots out there the Cochise 120 is one of the best options. If you're looking for a more powerful boot, in the Alpine Touring capable category, check out the Cochise 130.
