Armada Stranger 100 Skis 2026

The Armada Stranger is a weird ski andĀ I mean that in the best way possible. It's a playful and poppy all-mountain freestyle ski that checks all the boxes it should: It loves riding switch, catching air, and flexing into butters. It's great for the park, side hits, and going off-piste. With a nimble feel and 100mm of waist width, it's great for hunting soft snow and ripping through the trees. That's all standard stuff for a ski with this construction, but what's surprisingĀ about the StrangerĀ is that on top of its freestyle abilities,Ā it carves way better than it should.

The Stranger can absolutely rail a carve unlike any other ski in this category. It's not a powerful ski, but medium to short-radius carves feel energetic, stable, and easy to shape. If you're just looking for a groomer slayer, look into other options, this is a freestyle ski that loves to carve. Its carving ability is what makes it stand out among the category. It's still gonna make the most sense for a playful style skier who likes to mess around and do tricks all over the mountain, dip into the trees, find natural features, and lap the park. It has a quick feel, a ton of pop/energy underfoot and it's not demanding at low speeds. It also just happens to carve like a beast.
