The Lange Shadow 115 LV is one of our favorite women's boot for this season. This is one of the highest-performing women's specific boots on the market. Lange updated the liner this year for a more precise and anatomical fit to provide skiers the tools they need for uncompromised performance and fit.
The Lange Shadow 115 has a low-volume fit that makes sense for stronger skiers with more narrow feet or skiers who like a more precise fit. The 115 flex is powerful and offers smooth and predictable power transfer from boot to ski. Lange has introduced some new tech on the Shadow boot as well.
The "Suspension Blade" on the spine of the boot allows the top end of the flex pattern to be easily accessed making the boot feel more natural and fluid as you send power to your skis. It also helps to provide a more responsive feel and better rebound than the Lange RX could (the boot the Shadow replaced). The Shadow 115 is built for harder-charging, advanced skiers who want to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of their skis but don't want to squeeze the life out of their feet. Even though it is a low volume fit, the plush material in the liner helps to keep comfort levels high.
